The authors provide a comprehensive theoretical investigation of the validity Fermi-liquid quasiparticle description in two-dimensional electron gas interacting via long-range Coulomb interaction. Contrary to popular belief, they find that quasiparticles are robust far above Fermi momentum, perhaps providing clue as why energy-band works well from surface. also there exists small region around critical wave vector where become fragile due their coupling collective modes. They three-dimensional results.
